My Yanks 6/26
The Yanks have been playing quite inconsistent all year. What are the problems that are occuring causing this to happen? ARod returned with his HR on his first AB and pitch back but since that has not done much and has been in a major slump to say the least. He broke out a bit last night with 2 RBI singles and a homer. Despite all his problems he has helped the team out by protecting Mark Texeira who has done very well since ARod has returned. The pitching has showed some good signs but they just can’t get it done day in and day out. Sabathia is leading the staff and has been pretty dominant in his past few starts even after injuring his bicep. Burnett has been solid just inconsistent, and Pettitte is the same. He has a good start here and a bad start there. Joba has been mediocre and throws much too many pitches and gets into trouble and only gets through about 5 innings. Wang has sucked, straight up. The bullpen has been pretty solid and witht he return of Bruney and the trade of Veras should improve the bullpen. Hopefully with Yanks can turn it around a bit and make a fun for #27. amass22
